Hoppin’ Around Downtown Returns to Grimsby

Downtown Grimsby is excited to announce the return of Hoppin’ Around Downtown, sponsored by The Dog Spot and M&M Food Market, on Saturday, April 4 from 10AM to 2PM in Downtown Grimsby. Now in its second year, this free, family-friendly Easter celebration invites families and community members from across Grimsby to enjoy a day of themed activities and family fun throughout the downtown core.

Families can take part in a free Easter Egg Hunt throughout Downtown Grimsby, visiting participating locations to collect Easter treats while discovering what local businesses have to offer.

In addition to the egg hunt, the alleyway between The Market Place and Harmony Jewellers will be transformed into a hub of festive fun with free activities for children and families. Highlights include a bouncy castle, giant games, face painting, cookie decorating, and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny

“We had such a strong turnout last year and it was great seeing so many families out enjoying downtown together,” said Simon Duong, Chair of Downtown Grimsby. “We’re excited to bring this event back and hope it gives families another fun reason to explore our downtown businesses.”

Hoppin’ Around Downtown is free to attend, and the Easter Egg Hunt is available while supplies last. Families are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the activities and explore the many businesses in Downtown Grimsby.
